Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival – June 19-21, 2020 – Vancouver, BC, Canada

The 32nd Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival in Vancouver, Canada will be held from June 19-21, 2020. Preliminary expressions of interest and confirmed registrations have been received from teams from Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, France, Germany, and more. We invite all teams to join us and celebrate community, culture, and competition in Vancouver next year.

The Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival attracts over 200 teams and 100,000 spectators from around the world to Vancouver to enjoy three days of racing, live music, and cultural programming. From headliner music concerts to world-class racing, teams enjoy the continent’s most scenic race site, just a 5 minute walk from Downtown Vancouver. Teams outside of North America enjoy free registration. Letters of invitation and visa letters are available if required.

All races are held in BuK 20 person boats. Main divisions are held across 500 M races, with specialty cup races in 100 M knockout races or 2,000 M turns races. The course is on False Creek in the centre of Downtown Vancouver at our fully accessible facilities at Creekside Paddling Centre (click here for video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_GATxWg1v0).
