Venice needs no introduction. The name says it all, invoking images of gondolas gliding silently through the canals. It is the city of romance, of poets, of musicians and artists. Of navigators and explorers. Great emperors wanted her. No-one ever conquered her. But Venetians conquered the world – the splendours of this unique city making it a place that everybody wanted to see.

For several years now, and with much enthusiasm, the dragon boat has become a popular boat in Venetian waters, used for student regattas and international festivals and it has an ever increasing presence in Venice’s Vogalonga.

The Organising Committee of the 2017 ICF World Club Crew Dragon Boat Championships in Venice wants to offer to all followers of the dragon boat a unique opportunity to meet and where they can share the beauty, the emotions, the victories and defeats.

The racing distances will be 200mt, 500mt and 2000mt.
The categories will be Junior (15-18yo), Senior, Master 40+, Master 50+.
The O.C is evaluating the inclusion ulterior categories (eg BCS, University, Social).

15th February 2017: First Deadline and Deadline for provisional hotel booking
30th March 2017: Second Deadline and Deadline for obligatory hotel booking
